1.5 Permission Settings

Before using DeskIn, make sure to follow these steps to grant the necessary permissions for the app to function properly, otherwise your device may not able to be accessed and controlled.

If you are using a Windows computer, you can use it normally without any special settings.
Change Application Permissions on a Mac

2.1 Grant Accessibility Permissions: Open "System Preferences," select "Security & Privacy" , select "Accessibility," then click the lock icon and enter your administrator password to make changes. Check the box next to DeskIn to grant it accessibility permissions. If DeskIn is not on the list, click the "+" button, navigate to DeskIn in the Applications folder, and add it to the list.

2.2 Grant Screen Recording Permissions: Open "System Preferences," select "Security & Privacy", select "Screen Recording," then check the box next to DeskIn to grant it the screen recording permissions. If DeskIn is not on the list, click the "+" button, navigate to DeskIn in the Applications folder, and add it to the list.

2.3 Grant Full Disk Access Permissions: On macOS, open "System Preferences," select "Security & Privacy", select "Full Disk Access," then click the lock icon and enter your administrator password to make changes. Check the box next to DeskIn to grant it the screen recording permissions. If DeskIn is not on the list, click the "+" button, navigate to DeskIn in the Applications folder, and add it to the list.
